Infuriated, Ventura called the Ubited States the "Fascist States of America." The former Minnesota Governor insists he will "never stand for a national anthem again" and vowed to apply for Mexican citizenship. Lino Ventura
BIOGRAPHIE : Lino Ventura, de son vrai nom, Angelo Borrini, est né à Parme (Italie) le 14 juillet 1919. Ses parents s'installe en France quand il a sept ans, il y grandit en menant une vie calme et somme toute banale. Il exerce divers petits métiers et consacre une grande partie de son temps à la lutte. En 1942, il épouse Odette Lecomte, un amour de jeunesse. Sa persévérance dans l'entraînement de la lutte lui permet de devenir champion d'Europe en 1950. Une blessure à la hanche et une rencontre avec Jacques Becker décident de la suite de la vie de Lino : il est embauché pour donner la réplique à Jean Gabin dans "Touchez pas au Grisbi" en 1953. A partir de ce moment Lino Ventura s'illustre dans nombres de rôles de truands ou de durs à cuire. En 1966, suite à la naissance de sa fille Linda, handicapée mentale, Lino fonde une association (Perce-Neige) ayant pour but de créer des structures d'accueil pour s'occuper décemment des jeunes malades. Il reçoit le soutient de nombreux artiste et grâce à son esprit combatif il a réussi à faire vivre et développer l'association. Le 22 octobre 1987 Lino Ventura décède à l'age de 68 ans d'une crise cardiaque, et laisse derrière lui 34 ans d'une riche carrière cinématographique.

Les Tontons flingueurs est un film franco-italo-allemand, réalisé par Georges Lautner, sorti sur les écrans en 1963. C'est l'adaptation du roman d'Albert Simonin, Grisbi or Not Grisbi, troisième volet d'une trilogie consacrée au truand Max le Menteur qui comprend également Touchez pas au grisbi et Le cave se rebiffe. Dans le film de Lautner, Max le Menteur devient Fernand Naudin (Lino Ventura), un ex-truand reconverti dans le négoce de machines agricoles, à Montauban. Sa petite vie tranquille va basculer lorsque son ami d'enfance, Louis dit le Mexicain, un gangster notoire, de retour à Paris, l'appelle à son chevet... Celui-ci, mourant, confie à Fernand, avant de s'éteindre, la gestion de ses « affaires » ainsi que l'éducation de sa petite Patricia (Sabine Sinjen), au mécontentement de ses troupes et sous la neutralité bienveillante de maître Folace (Francis Blanche) son notaire, qui ne s'émeut pas trop de la querelle de succession à venir. Fernand Naudin doit affronter les frères Volfoni – Raoul (Bernard Blier) et Paul (Jean Lefebvre) – qui ont des visées sur les affaires du Mexicain : un tripot clandestin, une distillerie tout aussi clandestine, une maison close, etc. D'autres « vilains » vont se révéler être très intéressés par la succession dont Théo et son ami Tomate. Outre le sel des répliques d'Audiard, le charme du film réside dans les astuces utilisées pour masquer à Patricia et son ami Antoine (Claude Rich), ainsi qu'au père de ce dernier, la véritable situation.
