Entendu sur RFI, le 22 mai 2011 Radhia Nasraoui, présidente de l'organisation tunisienne de lutte contre la torture affirme avoir reçu des témoignages de prisonniers torturés et même violés, après la révolution.Rien n’a été fait pour éradiquer la torture, ou au moins, la freiner. Il n’y a pas de volonté politique d’arrêter ces pratiques sauvages. Le but est de faire taire les Tunisiens.

Journée internationale de soutien aux victimes de la torture
Toujours en France, nous nous rendons maintenant à Saint-Malo où des pratiquants de la méthode pacifique Falun Gong ont profité de la Journée internationale pour le soutien aux victimes de la torture" pour dénoncer la persécution dont les pratiquants de cette méthode sont victimes en Chine. Voici un reportage de nos correspondants sur place. Le 26 juin est reconnue « Journée internationale pour le soutien aux victimes de la torture » depuis 1997 par l'Assemblée générale des Nations-Unies. À cette occasion, des pratiquants de la méthode pacifique Falun Gong se sont rassemblés à Saint-Malo pour dénoncer la persécution dont sont victimes les pratiquants de cette méthode en Chine. Ce jour-là avait également lieu le festival « Solidor en peinture .» De nombreux visiteurs sont donc venus admirer les œuvres et ce très beau quartier de Saint-Malo.

Un avocat chinois dénonce les tortures en détention
Près de cinq mois après sa libération, l'avocat chinois des droits de l'homme Jiang Tianyong, a révélé la détention illégale et les tortures qu'il a subies pendant deux mois. Il n'a pas vu la lumière du jour pendant toute cette période et a été constamment soumis à des tortures physiques et mentales. Les agents de sécurité chinois avaient emmené Jiang le 19 février dernier. Aucune information sur le lieu et les conditions de sa détention n'avait été publiée avant qu'il ne soit autorisé à rentrer chez lui, le 19 avril dernier. Jiang explique que durant cette détention inexpliquée, il a été battu, menacé et privé de sommeil pendant cinq jours. Il a également été soumis à ce que les autorités appellent «l'éducation de secours,» une méthode de lavage de cerveau durant laquelle les interrogateurs ont à plusieurs reprises « éduqué » Jiang pour qu'il se repente de ses soi-disant «erreurs.»
