Le Galaxy Skin serait équipé d'un écran AMOLED flexible de 4,5 pouces conçu en graphène, une forme allotropique du carbone qui remplace le verre et confère à l'écran une souplesse jusque-là jamais vue. Il serait ainsi possible de plier l'écran du smarpthone pour l'adapter à certaines situations. D'autres spécifications viennent étayer cette alléchante annonce - processeur double-coeur 1,2 Ghz, de 1 Go de RAM, 16 ou 32 Go d'espace de stockage selon le modèle, etc. Seulement, Samsung n'a pas officiellement annoncé le Galaxy Skin, et dément même l'information, expliquant que les visuels accompagnants cette fausse annonce sont le fruit d'un projet mené par des étudiants en design, et qu'il ne s'agit là que d'un concept.
