Bletchley Mosque Protest 8th January 2011 http://www.bnp.org.uk/news/150-british-national-party-supporters-turn-out-protest-mosque-plans-bletchley-park 150 British National Party Supporters Turn Out to Protest Mosque Plans in Bletchley Park Sun, 09/01/2011 - 21:28 | BNP News Over 150 British National Party supporters turned out on Saturday to protest the building of another mosque in Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes, reports our regional correspondent. “We had a very good turnout and lots of support from the local people,” Milton Keynes organiser Kieren Trent said. A wide variety of homemade banners and slogans were seen alongside dozens of Union flags and St George’s crosses. The posters included slogans such as ‘Islam or Democracy?,’ ‘MK Council – we are your boss!,’ ‘No mosque in the home of the code breakers!’; and ‘Say NO to the Bletchley Mosque.’ The protesters occupied the pavement immediately outside the Plough Pub, which is on a very busy double roundabout. They were greeted by local passersby with a great many ‘thumbs up’ and beeping of car horns. By the end of the day, another 100 signatures had been collected for the anti-mosque building petition, which has now taken the total gathered to over 600. (In the video below, Mr Kieren’s figure of 500 had been made out of date before the day had ended). The pub has been bought by a local Muslim group who have applied for planning permission to change it into a place of worship. “The decision is due to be made in the coming weeks by Milton Keynes Council,” Mr Trent said. “We have made every effort to demonstrate the wide scale opposition felt by local residents.” After the demonstration, Mr Trent thanked the local people and members for the supporting the protest and led around 70 of them on to a traditional local pub for a social meeting. In the pub, Buckinghamshire sub-regional organiser Matt Tait said some impassioned words about how the fog was falling from the eyes of our people. “They are beginning to see that they are being slowly but surely colonised by foreign peoples and alien cultures,” Mr Tait said. “Today we drew a line in the sand, here in Bletchley, home of the code breakers. United we stand and will remain. This is England and it belongs to us,” he said. “I want to thank Mr Trent for organising this protest,” Mr Tait continued. “He took on the role as local organiser only 6 months ago and has led the local branch forward with immense success.” For his part, Mr Trent told the gathering that it was “important to safeguard the future of our English communities in our homeland against the threat of mass immigration. “It is also inspiring to see the white working class community of the area standing so united to defend our area.” Finally, Mr Trent awarded the local party Social Club organisers, Terry and Pauline, with prizes for being ‘Activists of the Year’ and thanked them for their reliability and dedication to the cause. Terry and Pauline have been vital in organising the protests and even provided the minibus which was used to shuttle people from the railway station to the venue. They also provided tea and, appropriately enough, bacon rolls, which kept the crowd going on what was a very cold blustery day. Egyptian protester executed in Alexandria - February 6, 2011 Manshya District in Alexandria. Video by Moustafa Mahmoud. Please contact Al Jazeera This is why no one will leave Tahrir Square. This is a video from Alexandria, 28/01/2011 The kid was probably angry because his friend was shot, so he walked up to the police, he showed them he had no weapons on him, but they still shot him anyways when he was leaving. The death toll from the violence had risen to 54 dead and 1,000 injured by 28 January. As of 30 January, Al-Jazeera reported as many as 150 deaths in the protests. As of 29 January, at least 102 people were known to have died, many or most shot. The dead included at least 10 policemen, 3 of whom were killed in Rafah. By 29 January, 2,000 people were known to be injured.[ The same day, an employee of the Azerbaijani embassy in Egypt was killed while returning home from work in Cairo; the next day Azerbaijan sent a plane to evacuate citizens and opened a criminal investigation into the death. Funerals for the dead on the "Friday of Anger" were held on 30 January. Hundreds of mourners gathered for the funerals calling for Mubarak's removal. By 1 February, the protests had left at least 125 people dead, although UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay stated that as many as 300 people may have died in anti-government unrest in Egypt according to a report by Human Rights Watch. This unconfirmed tally included 80 HRW-verified deaths at two Cairo hospitals, 36 in Alexandria, and 13 in the port city of Suez, amongst others; over 3,000 people were also reported as injured. Leading up to the protests, at least six cases of self-immolation were reported, including a man arrested while trying to set himself on fire in downtown Cairo. These cases were inspired by, and began exactly one month after, the acts of self-immolation in Tunisia triggering the 2010--2011 Tunisian uprising. Six instances have been reported, including acts by Abdou Abdel-Moneim Jaafar, Mohammed Farouk Hassan, Mohammed Ashour Sorour, and Ahmed Hashim al-Sayyed who later died from his injuries. ----------------------------------------------------------- Source: Name: Arjan Websites: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheArjan1982 http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theintelhubnewsnetwork http://www.blogtalkradio.com/resistanceradio http://www.blogtalkradio.com/antimatterzone -----------------------------------------------------------

Insan Dost Association (IDA) By Imran Anjum, on December 14th, 2009 In 1986 the founder president of IDA, Mr. Anjum Raza Mattu, a field worker in State Life Insurance Company, visited a brick kiln with his co-workers for the life insurance of workers or owner. The brick kiln workers began to weep bitterly before them and requested to release them from the hardships and loans of the kiln owner. They also explained how they spent almost their whole life with the family working on the kiln just to return their loans but there was no decrease in the loans. They were deprived of their fundamental rights of freedom of movement, choice of job, access to basic social services, and subjected to extreme forms of physical, mental and sexual abuse.
