I am in Libya, I am alive, free and intend to go to the very end and exact revenge," 'Russia's RIA Novosti' news agency quotes Saif al-Islam as saying on the Syrian Channel on Saturday night. Earlier contradictory reports suggested Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has been either killed or captured in the western Libyan town of Zliten and was in the hands of the country's National Transitional Council. Egypt's Nile TV Channel reported on Thursday, October 20, that he had managed to flee Sirte and find shelter in the desert. According to RIA Novosti, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has already got the support of the tribes loyal to his father, who promised to fight against the current government and take revenge for the killing of the colonel and his son Mutassim. Some experts now suggest the Libyan conflict could now be prolonged and grow from a political into an interethnic struggle. Thirty-nine-year-old Saif al-Islam is the second son of Muammar Gaddafi and carried out public relations and diplomatic roles for his father. Western-educated and the most-recognized Libyan official, he was often viewed as Colonel's successor and a possible reformer. Muslim Black slavery - Islam slave history of Black Africa
When doing research on African slavery I came across this video and was surprised about the slave trade in the Middle East, especially around North Africa. This explains the current genocide that is going on in Darfur and the Sudan. I could see the link with the past that this has been going on for 14 centuries. This person wrote this book about slavery in Islamic states. John Alembillah Alembillah Azumah The book is called Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa: A Quest for Inter-Religious Dialogue. This book reveals the dark secret of Islam and slavery of black people in Africa and the history of how Arab Muslims went to war on and captured black men, women and children and turned them into slaves. While slavery only lasted 3 centuries in the west, it has lasted 14 centuries in the Middle East and exists today in many Muslim countries. He explains the book in this short video and it is very interesting. It explains that when Arab slave traders would raid black villages to the south they would kill the adults and kidnap the children. The boy children were indoctrinated into an Islamic army for the Arabs and the girls were taken as household and sex slaves. The reason their were not that many black descendants in the middle east is because the black male children were castrated so they could not reproduce. There were a few black Africans who grew up and because they curried favor with their masters were allowed to also be slave traders. A very interesting history of black African slave trade and the Muslim Arab world. People need to know this history, BUT instead sadly people will never get enough of watching Souljah Boy dance dude, 50 cent, old Tupac Shakur Rap videos, Britany Spears and other videos and never know the truth, especially white and black converts or reverts. This is part of the legacy of slavery that most African American people should know. Many black converts or reverts do not know this history before they converted believing that they were originally Muslim before they were sold into slavery. They were not. People should research their history before they convert or revert.

WHAT you are not being told about the slave trade and why they need the USA's brief history of slaver to divert attention to what and where the slave story is and how it unfolds to this very day! SLAVERY: Muslims are told that Africans "annoy the Prophet" (Ishaq 243), have hearts "grosser than a donkey" (Surah 9:61) and that blacks should be left to die if injured, and should be denied intercession and entrance to heaven (Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 52, Number 137). 4:3; that if a women becomes captive in a war, her Muslim master is allowed to rape her A comparison of the Islamic slave trade to the American slave trade reveals some interesting contrasts. While two out of every three slaves shipped across the Atlantic were men, the proportions were reversed in the Islamic slave trade. Two women for every man were enslaved by the Muslims. While the mortality rate for slaves being transported across the Atlantic was as high as 10%, the percentage of slaves dying in transit in the Trans Sahara and East African slave trade was between 80 and 90%! Muslim slave trade was not limited to people of certain color, ethnicity, or religion. In the early days of the Islamic state, ~ 8th and 9th centuries, most of the slaves were of Slavic Eastern European, Persian and other Caucasoid origins. Later, and toward the 18th and 19th centuries, slaves were mainly coming from East Africa Apologists for Muslim slavery attempt to make the case that Islam is, in fact, opposed to slavery and that the traditional institution of Muslim slavery was humane. However, Muslims like those of other faiths, often ignore those elements of their religion they find inconvenient. There is as a consequence an enormous gulf between the theory and practice of Muslim slavery. Apologists take refuge in theory while critics rely on facts and the facts about Muslim slavery are truly horrible.
