Helen Shapiro - I don't care
Helen Shapiro est une chanteuse de rock britannique, née à Bethnal Green à Londres le 28 septembre 1946. Elle a figuré deux fois à la première place du hit-parade britannique en 1961 avec You don't know et Walkin' back to happiness, alors qu'elle avait 14 ans. Elle a enregistré notamment pour les disques Columbia et Pye. En février 1963, elle est en tête d'affiche d'une tournée qui traverse l'Angleterre, avec un jeune groupe de Liverpool en première partie : The Beatles. Le succès s'étant éloigné, Helen Shapiro s'est orientée vers le jazz et la musique gospel. Elle a aussi participé à la comédie musicale Oliver !, de Lionel Bart. Elle a publié son autobiographie en 1993, intitulée Walking back to happiness.

Notre ami Yvan ( Seaclone ) réparateur de nos boards étant parti partiellement pour d'autres horizons, nous avons rencontré, grâce à l'ami Florian de MoanaShop de Palavas un shaper, Colas RICARD (CoCo) , pour tout ce qui va et vole sur l’ eau. Coco donc, nouveau shaper et réparateur du Crew Longboard34. Formé par de grands noms du shape ( Australie etc...), le savoir faire s’ est étoffé au fil des ans. Etudiant en parallèle les techniques de pointe telle que l’ infusion (procédé d’ imprégnation utilisé dans l’aéronautique ), c’ est ce mélange entre l’ amour des belles formes et un aspect très rationnel du travail qui caractérise sa vision du shape. Chaque unité est conçue et façonnée artisanalement dans un but permanent de qualité, la décoration est le domaine de l’aérographe, Eric ROCAMORA. Il nous a reçu dans son atelier et nous a livré ses process de fabrication et vous propose une large gamme de kite ( Surf Kite, Longue Distance, Twin Tip etc..). Céline de Schepper remporte le ‘Weekend Fashion Award’ 2011-2012
Cette année, le jury du 8eme Weekend Fashion Award, avec comme président Anthony Vaccarello, a sacré Céline de Schepper, 23 ans, formée à La Cambre. Parmi les membres du jury, on pouvait compter Anne-Françoise Moyson, Elke Lahousse - journalistes mode au Vif Weekend et à Knack Weekend -, Jean-Paul Lespagnard, Suzy Menkes - papesse de la mode, qui a adoré sa collection –, ainsi qu’Anne Chapelle - qui finance les collections d’Ann Demeuleester, Haider Ackermann ou encore dudit Jean-Paul. Sans oublier bien sûr Aude Gribomont et Niels Radtke de la boutique Hunting & Collecting. Un jury cousu main qui a été séduit par « l’histoire forte et cohérente autour d’une femme contemporaine qu’a créé Céline De Schepper, ainsi que par son travail fait avec professionnalisme, fraîcheur et poésie ». La gagnante du 8e Weekend Fashion Award, qui présentait ce jeudi soir sa collection devant près de 1000 personnes réunies sur le site de Tour & Taxis, est « inspirante et inspirée », concluait le jury. Elle remporte donc la somme de 10 000 euros. Champagne pour elle, pour les 10 autres candidats venus du Japon, d’Allemagne, des Pays-Bas, de Grande-Bretagne, de France ou encore de Belgique… et pour tout le monde !
