Tiny Bradshaw -- Bradshaw Boogie ( 1951) Myron ("Tiny") Bradshaw (23 septembre 1905 - 26 novembre 1958) était un chanteur et compositeur de Jazz et de Rhythm and Blues américain originaire de Youngstown en Ohio. Il jouait aussi du piano et de la batterie. En 1934, Bradshaw forma son propre groupe de Swing qui enregistra 8 titres cette année là. Puis vint une longue pose puisque le groupe n'enregistra à la suite de ceci qu'en 1944 et avec une orientation musicale beaucoup plus proche du Rhythm and Blues. A partir de ce moment là, le groupe enregistra un certain nombre de titres pour le marché du Rhythm and Blues, plus spécialement entre 1950 et 1954. L'un des titres les plus connus de Bradshaw fut sans doute "Train Kept A-Rollin'" (1951) qui se trouvait être un morceau cette fois-ci plus Rock'n Roll que Rhythm and Blues. Cette chanson fut reprise avec encore plus de succès par The Yardbirds en 1966. Elle fut aussi reprise par Aerosmith en 1974 et par Motörhead en 1978. Plus tard, la carrière de Bradshaw fut entravée par de sérieux problèmes de santé, dont deux attaques cardiaques qui le laissèrent partiellement paralysé. Sa chanson "Bushes", sortie en 1958, n'arriva pas à répondre aux attentes musicales d'un public plus jeune émergeant. Affaibli par ses attaques aussi bien que par son investissement professionnel, Bradshaw mourut dans la maison de ses parents adoptifs à Cincinnati en 1958. Il avait alors 53 ans. Bradshaw resta surtout connu pour ses succès successifs dont "Well Oh Well", "Breaking Up the House", et "Soft". En tant qu'artiste accompli, il fut un mentor très apprécié par un certain nombre de musiciens et d'arrangeurs maintenant connus dont Shad Collins, Gil Fuller, Gigi Gryce, Russell Procope, Red Prysock, Sonny Stitt, et Shadow Wilson.

We strongly believe that with Parliament deliberately lying and continually denying the British Public the right to hold a referendum on the EU that this protest will most defiantly put the pressure on .Also with the UKs massive deficit it is morally wrong for the UK to be giving the EU £50 MILLION a day to something which gives us nothing back except corruption ,alien bureaucracy ,and highly undemocratic governance in which it is seeking to diminish British Democracy, Independence and sovereignty. We are also protesting about the amount of foreign aid being given away which we believe would be better spent at home and not on countries such as India that are emerging global economic powers. His new book tells the secrets of Xinhua News Agency. Mark Newham said to BBC, he expressed his anger and frustration caused by a constraining system in his book through a British sense of humor. The book conveys a message that China has in fact not changed, and the situation of media freedom has even worsened. Experiences at Xinhua New Agency left Mark Newham with 「psychological shadow,」 which needed psychiatric counseling to clear. Mark Newham is a freelancer. He says, despite the title, the book is not about circus. It is documentation of his experiences, emotions, and reflections as a Western journalist inside China's propaganda machine. Western media and writers are often blinded by the economic growth in China, misconceiving Shanghai's Pudong as representative of China. Working for Xinhua News Agency enabled Newham to access people and places hidden from foreigners, and allowed him to see the real China. The book reveals that before the 2008 Olympic games, media control in China was somewhat loosened. However, media freedom was quickly diminished right after the Olympic games. China opened up to foreign media and so-called 「harmful websites」 during the Olympics till Oct. 17,2008. On Oct. 16, the government announced such access would become permanent. But it was immediately noticed that foreign media still needed permission to report in Tibet and Xinjiang. Newham remarks that changes in China stop on the economical level. On the socio-political level, the development is slow or even reversed. He believes the problem is in the power structure. Unlike in Western countries, government officials in China are not elected. In this video interview, Dr Wakefield says that BMJ is factually incorrect in accusing Wakefield of falsifying the study data in his 1998 paper published in The Lancet. "[The data] were faithfully reproduced in the Lancet paper, and they were made in the most scrupulous, meticulous way. Those are the facts. Brian Deer knew those facts. When he made his allegations to the BMJ, he knew those facts. Did he disclose them to the BMJ? More importantly, did the BMJ, as a peer reviewed scientific journal, did they check the facts? Because the facts were fully available to them in the book Callous Disregard." Dr Wakefield also explains how this desperate move by the BMJ to attack Dr Wakefield has eroded the credibility of the publication: "They have been hijacked by a freelance journalist who is not expert in any of these fields. They have handed over their journal to this man and allowed him to publish knowingly false allegations, and they have gone along with it. In my opinion, they [the BMJ] have blown their scientific credibility. In their desperation... their fundamental belief that vaccines must be safe, [they say] please don't tell me this terrible disease has been caused by the physician, don't tell me that. Tell me anything but that, and we will take any information, even information from Brian Deer, that will convince us it's safe, and we will publish that, because that conforms with our belief system. That makes us feel more comfortable. That makes us feel that we, as a profession, are not culpable in this extraordinary disorder." In this interview, Dr Wakefield also discusses the motivation for the BMJ to grasp at any effort to discredit those who question the safety of vaccines: "They are so keen to prove me wrong, to prove the parents wrong, and to exonerate the medical profession, their political friends, their pharmaceutical friends, whoever it is, that they have gone ahead in this reckless way and done this. And now, based upon the clear, unambiguous, historical factual records, then I can come out and talk to you like this and say this without any fear of retribution from the BMJ because they've got themselves into this mess. The facts are the facts." British Forces News: Destroyer keeps watch on Russian carrier - December 14, 2011 A Royal Navy destroyer has rushed to intercept a flotilla of Russian ships off Scotland in a return to Cold War tensions. The battlegroup, headed by aircraft carrier the Admiral Kuznetsov, is understood to have sought shelter from a storm in the Firth of Moray. The Admiral Kuznetsov is en route to Syria, in a show of Russian support for the country's under-fire regime. Along with destroyer escort she has diverted toward the Scottish coast, apparently to take shelter from North Sea storms. At 65,000 tons the Admiral Kuznetsov is roughly the size of Britain's long awaited new carriers. Built at the height of the Cold War, she is armed with Sukhoy SU 33 fast jets, KA-27 anti submarine warfare helicopters and Granit - NATO designation "Shipwreck" anti ship missiles. There is one major difference from cold war times: back then a Nimrod would have been used to keep a watchful eye on the visitors. Even so, defence has managed to keep close enough tabs on the fleet to send HMS York all the way from Portsmouth to escort the ships. So far the biggest row caused by the stopover is about dumping waste overboard.
