    Ronnie Bird - Fais Attention

    Ronnie Bird, de son vrai nom Ronald Méhu, est un chanteur de rock français, né à Boulogne-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) le 24 avril 1946. Il fréquente jusqu'en seconde le lycée Claude Bernard qu'il quitte sur un conflit avec un professeur. Il a publié son premier enregistrement en 1964 chez Decca avec pour titre vedette Adieu à un ami, qui était un hommage à Buddy Holly. Il compte à son actif une petite dizaine de 45 tours et un album 33 tours. Malgré d'évidentes qualités et quelques succès (Elle m'attend, Où va-t-elle ?), il a renoncé à sa carrière artistique après cinq ans d'activité, faute d'avoir acquis une popularité à la mesure de son attente. Le phénomène Antoine avait fortement entamé son succès, du moins s'en plaignait-il en chanson (Chante) : Voilà que la chanson devient un vrai concours Les idoles à Centrale s'en vont suivre des cours L'autoroute à présent devient remplie de gens Puisqu'il paraît qu'elle conduit à la tour d'argent Moi je meurs, oui, je meurs Hélas, trois fois hélas, parce que je n'ai pas étudié Il fait néanmoins partie, entre 1968 et 1972, de la troupe française de la comédie musicale Hair. Il a aussi écrit les paroles d'une remarquable chanson, Precious Things, chantée par Dee Dee Bridgewater, en duo avec Ray Charles, qui fut un succès en 1989. La chanson Le Pivert fut interdite de diffusion sur Radio-France pour, selon la circulaire émanant de la direction, "atteinte au bon goût et vulgarité". Le groupe décide malgré tout de continué ses activités, et annonce la sortie de leurs premier mini album pour le 15 Décembre. Le groupe as participé à un Omnibus pour SHOXX qui sera disponible en Février 2011. La chanson retenu est Be Sacrificed qui sera également disponible sur le mini album du groupe.
