The GazettE - Filth in the Beauty PV
PROFIL : the GazettE est un groupe rock/visual-kei japonais composé de 5 membres. Ils s'appelaient auparavant Gazette avant la sortie de leur second album NIL en Février 2006. Le groupe s'est formé en 2002 dans la zone de Kantou au Japon et débuta trois mois plus tard avec le single "Wakaremichi" sous le label indies Matina. the GazettE est maintenant sous le label major Sony Music Entertainment, auquel ils ont été récemment transférés vers KING RECORDS milieu 2010. Leur 17ème single "SHIVER" sera le premier single chez ce nouveau label. Membres : . Chant : Ruki . Guitare : Uruha . Guitare : Aoi . Basse : Reita . Batterie : Kai Ex-membre : . Batterie : Yune (parti en 2003) Parcours : Gazette est formé début 2002 par Ruki, Uruha et Reita (ex Ma'die Kusse) qui recrutent Aoi et Yune (ex Arita). Ils sortent leur premier single Wakaremichi en Avril. Le single a du succès et le groupe se fait connaître. Le 2 Juin 2002, ils effectuent leur premier one man show à guichets fermés. Ils enchainent par la suite les sorties de singles (Kichiku Kyoushi, Wakaremichi), de vidéos, ainsi que les premières tournées. Mais en Janvier 2003, Yune annonce qu'il quitte le groupe. Il est remplacé, en Février, par Kai (ex Mareydi†Creia'). Le mois suivant, le groupe signe avec la PS Compagny (label d'Alice nine, Kra, Kagrra et plus récemment, Screw, SuG et ViViD). et partent en tournée avec le groupe Hanamuke. Ils sortent en Mai 2003 leur premier mini-album COCKAYNE SOUP, qui est suivi par la sortie de Super Marguerita en Juillet, et par Hanko Seimeibun en Octobre. En quelques mois, leur popularité augmente de manière fulgurante ! Ils effectuent une nouvelle tournée en compagnie du groupe Vidoll et font ensemble la couverture du magazine "Cure". Le 16 Janvier 2004, Gazette donne son premier concert à Shibuya Ax devant plus de 1500 fans. Quelques mois plus tard, sortait le DVD du concert Tokyo saihan ~JUDGMENT DAY~. La sortie de ce DVD est suivi par les sorties en Mai du mini-album MADARA, du single Zakuro kata no yuuutsu~ Zetsu ~ Miseinen (qui donne lieu à trois clips qui se suivent) en Juillet, et à nouveau par une tournée avec Bis et Kra. L'année 2004 se termine avec un concert à Shibuya O-East qui fut un véritable carton, si bien qu'un DVD du concert (Heiseibanka) sortit peu de temps après, mais aussi avec la sortie du premier album Disorder le 13 octobre qui arriva 19ème au classement Oricon de la semaine (atteignant la 5ème place le jour de sortie). Cet album fut vendu à 11 231 exemplaires. En 2005, le groupe effectue de nombreuses tournées dans tout le Japon avec "Royal Disorder" et "Grand Royal Disorder". Sortent ensuite deux singles et un mini-album : reila (lessons G. O. D) (sortis en trois exemplaires), Gama et Chigire, Ainsi que les réissues de plusieurs de leurs anciens singleset mini-albums. Le 7 décembre sort le single Cassis qui a été le dernier single sous le nom de "Gazette". Le 11 décembre 2005, Gazette participe au Peace & Smile Carnival tour 2005, évènement fêtant les 5 ans du label PS Compagny. C'est ainsi qu'en 2006, sort l'album NIL sous le nom the GazettE (se prononce toujours gazetto, mais s'écrit seulement en romanji). Ils entament ainsi une nouvelle tournée dans tout le Japon. Cette fin d'année est marquée par la sortie de deux singles : Regret en octobre et Filth in the Beauty en novembre, qui sortent à seulement 6 jours d'intervalle ! En 2007, the GazettE effectue la tournée Decomposition Beauty. Ils sortent également le single Hyena en Février, et l'album Stacked Rubbish en été. Le 13 Février 2008, sort le nouveau maxi-single Guren, comme toujours en Optical et Auditory Impression, le groupe fait également au même moment une collaboration avec la marque de bijoux GemCEREY. Un nouveau single est sorti le 12 novembre, dénommé "LEECH", il est disponible en deux versions : Optical Impression contenant le clip-vidéo de LEECH, et Auditory Impression contenant une piste avec une musique bonus. Un concert spécial eu lieu le 3 janvier 2009 pour fêter les 10 ans de leur label. Le concert se nomma Peace & Smile Carnival et compris tout les groupes et artistes du label, se déroula au célèbre Nippon Budokan. Encore un nouveau single pour the GazettE : le 25 mars 2009, "DISTRESS AND COMA", à l'occasion de leur 7ème anniversaire. Ce single comprend, comme à chaque fois, l'Auditory et l'Optical Impression. Le 15 juillet 2009 sortit le nouvel album de the GazettE nommé : 「DIM」 suivi d'une nouvelle tournée japonaise. Dont le final eu lieu au Saitama Super Arena le 5 septembre 2009. Un nouveau single de 2 titres est sorti le 07 octobre 2009, "Before I Decay", toujours en deux éditions. À l'occasion de Noël, le groupe effectue le 24 décembre 2009 un live au Tokyo Big Sight, nommé "A HYMN OF THE CRUCIFIXION". S'ensuit alors une tournée nationale FanClub Only, "THE END OF STILLNESS", qui dura tout le mois de mars 2010. Le 21 Juillet 2010 sort le single SHIVER. La chanson titre de ce single servie d'opening à l'animeKuroshitsujiII.Comme d'habitude, le single est sorti en Auditory et Optical Impression, mais également une troisième édition contenant la chanson SHIVER + l'opening de Kuroshitsuji II. the GazettE annonce par la suite, à la fin du premier concert de la tournée NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX BULLETS la sortie de deux nouveaux singles : "Red" qui sortira le 22 septembre et "PLEDGE" qui sortira en décembre. Un flyer fut également distribué à la fin du concert, annonçant que le final de la tournée se déroulera au Tokyo Dôme le 26 décembre 2010. Peu après, des précisions concernant PLEDGE ont été apportées. Le single sortira le 15 décembre, cette fois-ci en 3 éditions : l'Auditory Impression et 2 Optical Impression (A et B), la différence entre ces dernières est le DVD. Le DVD de l'Optical A contiendra le clip + making of de PLEDGE tandis que le DVD de l'Optical B contiendra 3 chansons du live NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX BULLETS 01 at Nippon Budokan (live qui fut diffusé sur la chaîne japonaise WOWOW TV le 28 septembre 2010). Pour fêter leur concert au Tokyo Dôme, le groupe fit également une nouvelle collaboration avec la marque de bijoux GemCEREY. Dès la fin de leur concert au Tokyo Dôme, le groupe annonce alors la sortie d'un album best of (chansons de 2005 à 2009 seulement) et du DVD de leur concert au Tokyo Dôme. Également, une nouvelle tournée FC only de 8 dates nommée LIVE TOUR11 TWO CONCEPT EIGHT NIGHTS ABYSS / LUCY se déroulera en mars 2011. Le 9 février 2011 sort l'album tribute to Kuroyume "FUCK THE BORDER LINE". Gazette y reprend la chanson C. Y HEAD. À l'occasion de son 9ème anniversaire, le groupe se produit au ZEPP TOKYO le 10 mars 2011. À cause du séisme et du tsunami survenus au Japon le 11 mars, la sortie du DVD live au Tokyo Dome et celle du best of auront été repoussées au 6 avril. Les 6 dernières dates de la tournée fanclub abyss/lucy sont aussi reportées à mai et début juin. On apprend d'ailleurs le 6 avril la sortie d'un prochain single nommé VORTEX qui sortira le 25 mai 2011, comme d'habitude en auditory et optical impression. Le groupe aura l'"honneur" de participer au SUMMER SONIC 2011, un grand festival regroupant des groupes de rock japonais et occidentaux, Gazette montera sur scène le 13 et 14 août, à Tokyo et Osaka. Gazette participe également au Peace & Smile Carnival 2011, un évènement qui regroupe tous les groupes du label PS Compagny, cette fois-ci, l'évènement durera toute une semaine, du 11 au 17 août plus précisément, au C. C Lemon Hall. Décidément le groupe aime les festivals puisqu'il va aussi participer au Inazuma Rock Festival le 18 septembre 2011 dans la préfecture de Shiga. La rumeur d'un nouveau single se confirme, le 31 août 2011, Gazette sort REMEMBER THE URGE. On apprend également la sortie d'un nouvel album "TOXIC" prévue pour le 5 octobre ! La sortie de l'album sera suivie d'une tournée japonaise qui durera d'octobre à décembre 2011.
