According to RIA Novosti, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has already got the support of the tribes loyal to his father, who promised to fight against the current government and take revenge for the killing of the colonel and his son Mutassim. Some experts now suggest the Libyan conflict could now be prolonged and grow from a political into an interethnic struggle. Thirty-nine-year-old Saif al-Islam is the second son of Muammar Gaddafi and carried out public relations and diplomatic roles for his father. Western-educated and the most-recognized Libyan official, he was often viewed as Colonel's successor and a possible reformer. The statement came during her surprise visit to Libya at a meeting with senior members of the country's National Transitional Council. She has also pledged millions of dollars in new aid, including medical care for wounded fighters and additional assistance to secure weaponry, which many fear could fall into the hands of extremists. But the battle is still raging, block-by-block, house-by-house, as pro-Qaddafi forces seem ready to fight to the last man. CBS News correspondent Allen Pizzey reports that the last Qaddafi loyalists holding out in his hometown are being mercilessly ground down as the latest "final assault" gains brutal momentum. An almost ceaseless attack using rockets, mortars and heavy machine guns has moved the front lines forward more in the last two days than even the attackers expected. But with nowhere to run and no reason to expect mercy, the hardcore of what's left of Qaddafi's forces aren't giving up ground easily. It's fall will signal the actual end of Qaddafi. Not everyone in Qaddafi's birthplace was loyal to him, but the fighters who now control the rubble are jumpy, fearful that snipers may still be hiding here. You know that Beni Walid one of the cities being encircled cut off from food and water, buzzing with predators and nato bombing, is home of the largest tribe in Libya. How will they like your new Libya after you have done this to their Capital. You know that at least ½ of Libyans belong to tribes that are opposed to the TNC and NATO, The Warfalla and the Tarhuna to name just 2. Who represent ¼ of all Libyans. You know that you have never honestly discussed the pro's and cons and mechanisms for re-integrating the millions of Libyans who may be very frightened of the future of liberated Libya, who may prefer to have the peace and quiet of their repressive old government over this violent tearing apart of their society. And you know that Gaddafi was a very unique man, who said what he thought plainly, a Bedouin who rose to power, and tried to realize a dream for Africa and Libya, and perhaps failed -- but you know Gaddafi was not like any other leader we have demonized. My question to you is where is your conscience -- how can you sleep at night breaking so many moral principles and twisting this UN resolution to allow cities to be encircled. Cut off from food and water and then attacked with heavy weapons, while being bomber by planes of your military alliance. You know these bastards are fighting like we have seen no one fight in years -- at 500 to 1 odds -- and not give in since April until October -- 7 months. You know that privately many in our military are impressed by their bravery. Please make this persecution of loyalists, this nightmare of a defeated side in a civil war be humiliated beaten, cowed, starved, imprisoned and disenfranchised. We were under attack by well-armed rebels for more than a day and a half, and we suffered fatalities.” He went on to announce the launch of the strategy NOONA MIME [N - NATO - M - MAJLIS INTIKALI (NTC)]. This strategy involves creating multiple flash points of instability to continually disrupt every NATO plan, rendering the ongoing presence of NATO in Libya untenable. Thus the NTC will be abandoned and the Resistance can demolish it within a month. Recent events have shown that the NTC is very weak with their rebels failing to take over Bani Walid and Sirte in the last few days. The strategy began with spectacular operations in Tripoli, exploding NTC and NATO infrastructure. Further, Ibrahim confirms, “The news of Bani Walid is excellent. Bani Walid has been “cleansed of rebels”. Hospitals are full of anti-Gaddafi fighters and the dead lie near the city and in the mountains. Regarding Sirte, Ibrahim reported, “violent bombardments with tanks and Grad rockets (..) had destroyed entire neighborhoods and houses (…) forcing hundreds of residents to leave the city.” He stated he,”personally contacted the media and international organizations urging them to enter Sirte to see for themselves what has happened in the past month, but so far no one has come, why ? This is clearly a conspiracy. “ As for the situation Saturday in Sirte, he said that “according to the latest information (…) combatants (pro-Gaddafi) conducted a qualitative attack east of the city, repelling (pro-CNT) forces several kilometers from the town.” “The south and north fronts are going well. We expect an intensification of fighting (…) beginning tomorrow on the western and southern fronts, but we are prepared. We have a numerous combatants on the western front. We are fighting the CNT on five fronts in Sirte. These assault teams are supported by NATO aircraft and modern weapons.” Finally, Moussa Ibrahim indicated that there are strong pro-Gaddafi led attacks in several parts of western countries, including Zliten, Tripoli, as well as Aziziyah Tarhouna. LIBYA, More NATO-RAT lies 'Mass Grave Found' - September 26, 2011 Libya: NTC concocts mass grave story in brazen propaganda ploy Posted: 2011/09/26 By Martin Iqbal In a truly stunning display of dishonesty, the BBC has reported, citing no evidence to back its claim, that a mass grave containing over 1,200 bodies has been found in Tripoli's Abu Salim prison complex. The BBC attempts to tie this 'finding' to the equally concocted 'Abu Salim prison massacre', as it claims that the bodies are those of the inmates supposedly killed in 1996. In a piece posted today after a NTC news conference, the BBC uses the headline: "More than 1,200 bodies found in Tripoli mass grave". Categorically, absolutely, unequivocally, this is an out-and-out lie; 1,200 bodies have not been found. Not a single body has been found. In fact, no excavation has been performed, and no more than 'several bone fragments' have been discovered, according to the NTC. This is revealed to the reader within the BBC's own concocted report in the paragraphs that follow (emphasis mine): A mass grave believed to contain up to 1,270 bodies has been found in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, says the National Transitional Council (NTC). The remains are thought to be those of inmates who were killed by security forces in 1996 in the Abu Salim prison. ... Excavation at the site is expected to start soon. ... Several bone fragments and pieces of clothing have already been found in the top soil. While the unelected, illegitimate terror council known as the NTC claims to have found merely 'several bone fragments', the BBC claims that 1,200 bodies have been found in its deliberately misleading headline. Even this weak slew of lies from the BBC exposes the fragile nature of the 'Abu Salim massacre' propaganda, as it refers to the evidential basis of the event (emphasis mine): A few eyewitnesses have talked about the fact they were killed in their jail cells by grenades and sustained gunfire after a protest. Officials in the new government say they will need foreign forensic help to determine exactly what happened there. The BBC's report contains testimony from a 'Sami Assadi', who claims to have lost two brothers in the incident. "Mixed feelings really. We are all happy because this revolution has succeeded, but when I stand here, I remember my brothers and many, many friends have been killed, just because they did not like Muammar Gaddafi." The inclusion of this testimony is a blatant attempt to twist and distort the reality on the ground. The BBC suggests that the 'revolution' has succeeded. In reality the 'rebels' and the foreign soldiers & special forces leading them, don't even hold Tripoli, in addition to countless other locations still held by the Libyan resistance. These include Bani Walid and Sirte - locations now subject to NATO-prescribed blockades in an attempt to starve the resistance into submission, coupled with lethal bombing campaigns. In its crude attempt to deceive the public, the BBC even manages to contradict itself in this one-page report. The testimony it provides above suggests that the alleged victims of the 'Abu Salim massacre' were killed because they "did not like Gaddafi", while the BBC itself claims earlier in the piece, that they were killed for protesting against conditions in the prison. Associated Press has also picked up this story, citing rebel spokesperson Khalid al-Sherif: "We have discovered the truth about what the Libyan people have been waiting for for many years, and it is the bodies and remains of the Abu Salim massacre". As with the BBC piece, this report also admits that only a few bone fragments have been found and excavation has not even begun. Most certainly, this 'mass grave' propaganda will drop out of the news without retraction from the NTC liars or the media lackeys that peddled it, as it turns out to be an utter falsehood. 'Abu Salim' is an event toted by globalist-Zionist funded Human Rights Watch as the trump card in the propaganda war against Libya. It is an event for which there is no physical evidence, and HRW's report on the event hinges on the testimony of one person who is now residing in the United States. Libya: Libyan Rebel fighters retreat from Sirte after serious setback - September 19, 2011 Rebel forces in Libya were last night forced to pull back from Bani Walid after meeting fierce resistance from those loyal to the ousted Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi. Fighters came under heavy shelling and gunfire after entering the town, 90 miles south-east of Tripoli. The NTC forces were hit by sniper fire, mortar attacks and rocket barrages as they tried to advance on the city centre. "We have received orders to retreat. We have been hit by many rockets. We will come back later," Assad al-Hamuri, a fighter, said. Further to the east, forces were continuing an assault on Sirte, another remaining Gaddafi stronghold. A spokesman for Gaddafi said loyalists had inflicted heavy losses on the rebel fighters, and were prepared for a long fight. Moussa Ibrahim said: "The battle is far from over. We have prepared ourselves for a long war. We have the equipment and the weapons." The setback has raised concerns for the tens of thousands of civilians still believed to be living in both cities, who have been surviving for weeks with limited access to food, water and electricity. There are Russians and other foreign citizens some with military experience, in Libya who are offering solidarity with the African nation which has faced many massacres, and non-stop bombing by the US-European "NATO" alliance. Libya has held out single-handed and entered the ranks of world military history by its resistance under clear skies, with no air defenses and six months on non-stop cruise missiles, bombs, and now also chemical weapons and the cutting of water and food to entire cities by NATO-rebels. The Russian site reports that a detachment of seventy thousand (70,000) volunteers have come from Niger to help defend Libya, and that they are at the disposal of Colonel Gaddafi. In the towns of Bani Walid and Sirte, NATO used mustard gas and cluster bombs during the past week, with horrific injuries evident. Sirte and Bani Walid have been subjected to constant bombing, and wide spread use of sound bombs to prevent the population from sleeping as well as cause disorientation and now also the use of chemical weapons. All human rights and media organizations of the world, as well as "NGOs" and the "United Nations" have been silent on this matter, with only those governments that are not in the hands of the banking elite (including Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Zimbabwe) speaking out and demanding that an international tribunal examine NATO war crimes.
