Cherlyne Lim aka Che'nelle est une chanteuse et toasteuse australienne née le 10 mars 1983 à Sabah en Malaisie d'un père chinois et d'une mère indo-néerlandaise. Elle grandit à Perth en Australie. Che’nelle a baigné dans un environnement musical -son père tenait un karaoké- elle fut découverte par celui qui est aujourd’hui son manager, Charles Dixon, grâce à Myspace. Dixon a présenté son travail à Virgin et depuis les choses avancent à vitesse grand V pour la jeune australienne. Son premier album s’intitule « things happen for a reason » et le premier extrait de cet opus “I fell in luv with the DJ” en featuring avec Baby Cham à rencontré un énorme success.

O CONCELLO ORGANIZA UNHA CHARLA SOBRE A VIOLENCIA DE XÉNERO ■ A conferencia terá lugar o venres na Casa do Mar de San Ciprián a partires das 20.00 horas e é aberta a tódolos públicos ■ Nela unha técnica da Xunta dará a coñecer aos asistentes os distintos recursos dos que dispoñen as mulleres afectadas por casos de violencia machista e a forma de acollerse a eles Cervo, 24 de novembro de 2011.- O salón de Actos da Casa do Mar de San Ciprián acollerá mañá venres, a partires das 20.00 horas, unha charla informativa con motivo da celebración do Día Internacional contra a Violencia de Xénero. A conferencia está organizada pola concellería de Igualdade e Xuventude, á fronte da cal está a concelleira popular Pilar Álvarez Rodríguez. Na charla, unha técnica da delegación provincial da Secretaría Xeral de Igualdade, dará a coñecer aos asistentes os distintos recursos (municipais, autonómicos e estatais) dos que dispoñen as mulleres afectadas por casos de violencia machista e a forma de acollerse a eles. Pilar Álvarez, animou a tódalas persoas a que acudan a esta charla “independentemente da súa situación e sexo” porque “dispor dunha información axeitada é unha das necesidades básicas para as mulleres que sofren situacións de violencia, de aí que agardemos que este acto sirva na busca de recursos accesibles de organismos tanto públicos como privados, onde acudir en caso de vivir, coñecer ou presenciar casos de violencia contra as mulleres”. Para a responsable da área de Igualdade do Concello de Cervo o coñecemento dos recursos é un xeito de botar luz sobre unha realidade que viven moitas mulleres en silencio, con medo e sen saber con quen falar. “Non podemos permitir que a violencia se perpetúe pola falta de información. Estamos obrigadas e obrigados a mobilizar a conciencia da sociedade para poder eliminar a expresión máis brutal da desigualdade, a violencia de xénero” sinalou Álvarez; ao tempo que indicou que o exercicio do poder mediante o emprego da forza xa sexa física, psíquica, económica, etc maniféstase a través de moitos tipos de condutas, “mais todas teñen un denominador común, pechan ás mulleres nunha espiral de violencia da que é difícil saír”.
