OFF SESSION - Skylar Grey: "Invisible"
+ de vidéos sur www.off.tv Nous l'avons rencontrée à Paris, quelques heures avant son Zénith, dans le tour bus. L'acoustique était prévue dehors mais il gelait à pierre fendre et il est difficile de jouer de la guitare avec les mains gelées ! Skylar Grey, frêle américaine dépassant à peine la vingtaine est déjà pourtant responsable d'un kilo de hits pour les plus grands artistes US du rap et du hip-hop. C'est bien simple, ils se l'arrachent tous. Tous. Qui est-elle ? Petit retour en arrière. Dès l'âge de 6 ans, elle chante sur scène avec sa mère et fait la tournée des clubs de folk aux US. Après avoir grandi dans le Wisconsin avec pas grand-chose pour occuper ses journées à part apprendre à jouer de tous les instruments qui lui passent sous la main, Skylar quitte son bled direction LA. Elle signe un premier contrat qui se termine plus rapidement que prévu, sans qu'elle ait eu l'occasion de prouver sa valeur. Frustrée, elle part s'isoler dans une cabane dans les bois où elle se concentre sur son écriture et se crée un personnage plus fort, plus obscur : Skylar Grey. Après quelques mois de retraite, elle rencontre le producteur Alex Da Kid qui craque complètement sur sa voix et ses textes. Il fait passer à Eminem un texte que Skylar a écrit pendant qu'elle était dans les bois. Quelques semaines plus tard, Love The Way You Lie est numéro 1 partout et la terre entière chante le refrain écrit par Skylar et interprété par Rihanna sur le titre. C'est ensuite Eminem qui invite Skylar à Détroit pour bosser sur l'album le plus attendu du monde : Detox de Dr. Dre. Skylar écrit le refrain du titre « I Need A Doctor », on évoque à un moment Lady Gaga pour chanter sur le titre mais pour Eminem c'est Skylar ou rien. Rajoutez à cela Coming Home qu'elle a écrit pour Diddy et Words I Never Said pour Lupe Fiasco et c'est désormais tout l'industrie musicale qui frappe à la porte de Skylar. Signée sur le label d'Alex Da Kid qui produit également ses titres, Skylar se concentre maintenant sur son propre album, Invinsible à sortir en tout début d'année prochaine. Le premier single Invisible affirme son style à elle, la pop. Une ballade qui s'envole vers le ciel sur chaque refrain pour ne plus nous faire toucher terre. La voix est sublime, douce. Le titre est très bien accueilli et touche même plus loin que le cercle musical puisque David Lynch a lui-même fait un remix qui a crée l'émulation sur le web. Actuellement en studio pour terminer l'album, Skylar a également pris quelques jours pour tourner aux US et en Europe, notamment accompagnée d'Eminem comme au festival Lollapalozza ou au V Festival. Skylar annonce qu'il y aura très peu d'invités sur son album, si Marilyn Manson est déjà confirmé parmi les featurings, on attend également un grand nom du hip hop.... Voire deux.

As I have repeatedly predicted, once Libya fell, once the installation of a client government was accomplished, the oil ever so close to our hands, the press begins to open a little transparency. After all they only have to play this little game of cat and mouse a couple more times: Syria, Venezuela, Iran and one or two other loose threads -- and the world will have become one big McDonalds. "Monotony, monogamy and hegemony" -- as Terrence McKenna said. How can the deaths of thousands of innocent Libyans killed at the hands of a foreign coup be avenged? How can large powerful militaries be held accountable for their actions in steamrolling a small weak country? Not since Nazi Germany attacked Poland have we seen something comparable to Libya. Except In this case Libya had no one willing to take on NATO to help them. Perhaps more like the Czecho-Slovak Republic. You can say that the motives were noble -- but the actual mechanics were not. Or perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps I have been deceived in my analysis. Saif Al Islam and Saadi Gadaffi are both still being pursued. The original charges fed to the UN and the ICC from the TNC have all been debunked by Doctors Without Borders. These men have lost their country, most of their family, and had their father lynched and his corpse abused by a group of Islamic extremists the US France Qatar England & NATO trained and armed in violation of the UN 1973 resolution prohibiting arming of either side in the Civil War. Qatar has been the most egregious violator. NATO has become the face of a corporatist monolith. When countries like Norway began attacking African countries, this reminds one of international western business driving a war machine. Nazi-ism with a pretty face and lipstick -- dressed up as consumerism. Get us cheap oil and commodities boys! We don't want to know how you did it Ocampo stating that he would permit investigations into NATO crimes is a very important development. And there are dozens of questions to be asked. The key question is whether the architects of the overthrow of a Government can be held culpable for the excesses of their proxy forces on the ground. Can NATO be held liable for TNC atrocities? Selon le porte parole du gouvernement libyen le docteur Moussa Ibrahim, le leader Martyr Mouammar Kadhafi été capturé par les forces spéciales américaines après l'avoir blessé et ils l'ont remis aux rebelles et aux mercenaires qu'ils l'ont assassiné. Personne ne peut jurer de quoi que se soi. Ce qui est certain par contre ceux sont les documents divers, vidéos, photos, témoignages sonores de " proches " et les versions contradictoires qui nous poussent a mettre un doute les preuves de sa mort qui nous sont présentées précisément ce 20 10 2011, une journée à peine de la déclaration de Hillary Clinton lors de sa visite surprise sur le sol libyen en dehors du sol libyen ? Sa fameuse déclaration et le reste qui suivit, une chronologie d'événements comme s'il s'agissait d'une mise en scène que L'Otan a produit pur sortir de Libye coute que coute son crime ne cessant de grandir cela devenait insupportable. Que M'3ammar était été déjà mort avant la prise de Tripoli, ou après celle-ci, que ce fait a été volontairement caché par la résistance , ou qu'il est 'été capturé, tenu au secret et substitué le jour "J" le 20 10 2011 par Ali Majid el andalousi sosie lui ressemblant comme deux gouttes d'eau,, lynché puis tué pour faire vrai, Ou encore qu'il est été effectivement tué ce 20 10 2011 et que volontairement on a diffusé de faux documents pour occuper les gens et les éloigner du génocide commis à Cyrte, le temps d'effacer le crime, et surtout de faire oublier à la résistance la journée du vendredi du lendemain de ce 20. Toutes ces question sans réponse à cause du nouveau couvercle exercé par l'Otan sur toute information contradictoire qui font dire même à des gens du pouvoir légitime depuis damas en Syrie que Mé3ammar n'est plus de ce monde. ou tout simplement qu'il est vivant, attendant que l'Otan termine sa mission en Libye pour s'occuper des rats enfin.

People who are interested in ideas, regardless of the source -- who think for themselves of all persuasions are so much more interesting to hear -- than people who repeat what they are told by people they think are on the "same side" as them. I do not believe my views can be pigeonholed as left or right -- I believe people should have equity stakes in the services and resources they need -- and that as each of becomes a micro business owner -- we benefit from automation -- as we are owners not wage slaves. Small Business Poverty Eradication Libertarian The Libya intervention has been conducted recklessly and violently at every point in its prosecution. Rather than engaging in the subtle arts of diplomacy and engagement -- we unleashed complete devastation on a small prosperous tightly controlled police state. For some reason our entire media -- decided to make this conflict into a cartoon story of good vs evil, unwilling to ever utter a number of indisputable facts: 1) That Libya had the highest standard of living in Africa, especially for its poorest citizens. Libya had better social welfare programs than the US for its poorest citizens. 2) that is was secular and had equal rights for blacks and women. And 3) That underlying its socialist secular state -- was a complex web of tribal and regional relationships. The US and NATO rather than seeking a way to help Libya achieve greater democracy while retaining its prosperity, universities and medical services, etc -- ended up propelling a small minority of Islamic extremists into positions of power. It is absolutely reckless and incompetent foreign policy. And incredibly savage and brutal. It is no surprise that Gadaffi was beaten to death after capture -- based on the example we set in Libya. The thuggish way that Gadaffi was handled -- was the logical fulfillment of exactly what this witless warmongering administration created. The New Libya was created By Obama & Clinton -- "make no mistake". Instead of a peaceful prosperous police state -- that needed constructive engagement first certainly -- to endow its citizens with greater freedom of political expression -- we have created a land riven by animosity with brutal gangs roaming the lands -- gangs the Obama administration enabled to do things link lynching of blacks, opening fire on Loyalists, rounding up and beating and torturing loyalists. This policy can only be described as the most devilish way possible to destroy a country -- maximum fury of assault -- minimum of due diligence "understanding Libya" for Hillary Clinto to cackle "We Came We Saw He Died -- also shows what political appointee's rather than real professionals -- do -- they grotesquely shatter our foreign relations. Les deux minutes du pauvre nº1 : Mulholland Drive
Du 13 au 23 février, j’étais chez iMat. Une de nos activités fut de regarder ce film « WTF » de David Lynch, Mulholland Drive. Nous vint alors à l’idée d’utiliser nos voix, non pas pour voter, mais pour vous chanter une review de ce film… particulier. Étant bien incapables de tenir plus de 3 minutes sans rire, nous avons donc plein d’extraits de morceaux d’enregistrements, plus ou moins drôles (pour nous tout est très drôle mais c’est normal). Devant cette série de fails, nous avons baptisé ce chef d’œuvre « Les deux minutes du pauvre » (en référence aux célèbres Deux Minutes du Peuple de François Pérusse), et j’ai réalisé un montage. Voici le résultat. Plutôt private joke, peut-être que ceci vous fera tout de même rire. On se retrouve dans cette émission la prochaine fois que je vois iMat :3

But the battle is still raging, block-by-block, house-by-house, as pro-Qaddafi forces seem ready to fight to the last man. CBS News correspondent Allen Pizzey reports that the last Qaddafi loyalists holding out in his hometown are being mercilessly ground down as the latest "final assault" gains brutal momentum. An almost ceaseless attack using rockets, mortars and heavy machine guns has moved the front lines forward more in the last two days than even the attackers expected. But with nowhere to run and no reason to expect mercy, the hardcore of what's left of Qaddafi's forces aren't giving up ground easily. It's fall will signal the actual end of Qaddafi. Not everyone in Qaddafi's birthplace was loyal to him, but the fighters who now control the rubble are jumpy, fearful that snipers may still be hiding here. The assault on the last bastion seems designed to make sure none survive. Now it is I who is speaking. You know that you armed Islamic radicals to attack a secular country where women had equal rights. You know that the rumours about Black Mercenaries led to indiscriminate lynching of innocent Blacks. Alienating many blacks in Libya and around the world from the New Libya you have created. You know that people in Tripoli and all over the country are being arrested and threatened and beaten and even killed for flying their countries loyalist green flag. You know that we have conducted 10,000 aerial attacks on Libya a country with a population smaller than NY. You know that the loyalists might have agreed to elections. You know that we have wiped out at least 10,000 young Libyan Service Women and Men -- and created at least that many families missing a family member, proportionately this would be like 500,000 American Families losing a member. You know that Beni Walid one of the cities being encircled cut off from food and water, buzzing with predators and nato bombing, is home of the largest tribe in Libya. How will they like your new Libya after you have done this to their Capital. You know that at least ½ of Libyans belong to tribes that are opposed to the TNC and NATO, The Warfalla and the Tarhuna to name just 2. Who represent ¼ of all Libyans. You know that you have never honestly discussed the pro's and cons and mechanisms for re-integrating the millions of Libyans who may be very frightened of the future of liberated Libya, who may prefer to have the peace and quiet of their repressive old government over this violent tearing apart of their society. And you know that Gaddafi was a very unique man, who said what he thought plainly, a Bedouin who rose to power, and tried to realize a dream for Africa and Libya, and perhaps failed -- but you know Gaddafi was not like any other leader we have demonized. My question to you is where is your conscience -- how can you sleep at night breaking so many moral principles and twisting this UN resolution to allow cities to be encircled. Cut off from food and water and then attacked with heavy weapons, while being bomber by planes of your military alliance. You know these bastards are fighting like we have seen no one fight in years -- at 500 to 1 odds -- and not give in since April until October -- 7 months. You know that privately many in our military are impressed by their bravery. Please make this persecution of loyalists, this nightmare of a defeated side in a civil war be humiliated beaten, cowed, starved, imprisoned and disenfranchised. You can make this all stop with a snap of your fingers. Libya Conflict Analysis: Part 2 of 2 - Historical Factors & probable outcomes - October 3, 2011 After Bush's invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, Gadaffi and his Government gave in to the West, and followed the Wests demand to liberalize, creating unemployment for the first time, and selling State Enterprises to International Corporations. In 1995 a prison uprising occurred an 1200 Islamist Radicals were killed by the security forces, 1 in every 6,000 Libyans. It was the families of these martyrs that drove the protests of February 17. The more populous and cosmopolitan West of Libya was favored, and many of the larger tribes were closely allied with Gaddafi two of these tribes alone comprised nearly 1/3 of Libya's population. The People of the South of Libya who were predominantly Black, were also favored, with large investments in modernization made in Sabha, the chief city of Fezzan the southernmost state of Libya. At the time of the rebellion, which was put down violently with around 400 killed, the Misurata tribe and the Obeidi tribes along with others opposed Gadaffi and still do. The Warfala also turned against Gadaffi. But most Libyans not active in the armed element of the rebellion, became sympathetic as NATO began its campaign of bombing, killing about half the young men and women serving in the Libyan armed forces around 15,000. The clan system of Libya would suppose that at least 10 people would sympathize with the Gadaffi government with the loss of a loved one. So we can assume at least 150,000 libyans had family members killed, causing these clans to rally around the Government. In addition the largely false rumour of African Mercenaries fueled lynching of Black construction workers, alienating several hundred thousand Libyans. Additionally as the rebellions military wing were Jihadists that had fought NATO in Iraq, many women rallied around the Libyan Government, as women had equal rights in the Socialist Jamahiriya Gadaffi built. Technically Gadaffi resigned from Government in 1978, becoming a sort of national mentor instead. Of course most would say he actually tightly controlled the Government until the present day we can estimate that perhaps 10% of Libyans were women fearful of Jihadi Islamist Sharia law requiring them to get out of their pants and into Burkhas out of their universities to serve instead in the home. This would be around 600,000 women. Additionally 900,000 Libyans worked in the Government, and many of these were pro Gadaffi once NATO began bombing, not counted elsewhere we can say at least another 100,000. The 2 largest tribes, many other tribes, the majority of Women and Blacks then could be said to have rallied around their leader as their former colonial masters armed the Jihadists to overthrow a secular, though repressive Government. The other wing of the effective fighting forces of the rebels were the Berber, a ancient people living South of the populous coast, in the Western Mountains also called the Nafusa mountains.Looking at this constellation of factions and their allegiances it is clear that more Libyans supported Gadaffi's Jamahiriya that the rebellion. I do not see how any decent researcher could come to any other conclusion. Additionally the rebels chief General Younnes was assassinated by the Jihadists for his role in the prison massacre of 1995, which has caused some effect on his tribe , the Obeidi of the far east, based in Tobruk. Libya though a police state, had the highest standard of living and longevity in Africa and most of the middle east similar to Argentina or even Chile, due to its oil wealth. And as a police state it had a surprisingly low number of prisoners, only 10,000 as opposed to the US's 2 million. About ¼ of our incarceration rate and 1/3 of our death rate generally. The reason the rebels were successful was NATO's complete obliteration of the Libyan Navy Air Force and Army. The invasion of Tripoli was spearheaded by Special forces of the NATO countries and Qataris , and the present military commander of Tripoli, Belhadj was a good friend of what we call Al Qaeda. Imagine 7,000 batteries of missiles and 2000 pounds dropped on the capital of your state for 5 months, followed by the rounding up of anyone who supported your government and imprisonment of them, and attacks on ethnic groups including their killing fueled by propaganda only a Herr Goebells could have concocted.As we used to say during the cold war he might be a son of a bitch but he's our son of a bitch. The NATO countries media outlets have suddenly discovered that some Islamist are good guys ready to embrace democracy. This about face would never have happened if the Jihadi had opposed this extremely muscular display of firepower.We end with Churchill's speech on Hitlers plan to commit patricide of France.
