By Jason Claffey Email the author January 9, 2012 Ron Paul's wife, Carol, was shoved by a reporter at a Manchester diner this morning as a crush of press created a "mob"-like atmosphere, his campaign said in a news release. The incident occurred while Paul was attempting to campaign at Moe Joe's, a diner in the city. More than 120 media members packed the diner, creating an "unsafe" situation that forced Paul to leave, his campaign said. "A significant increase in the press corps, largely driven by an influx of foreign journalists, exceeded all expectations," his campaign said in a statement. “While we are very welcoming of media coverage and grateful for the interest in Dr. Paul and his campaign, basic safety simply must come first. "On behalf of Dr. Paul and his campaign team, I would like to apologize to customers at Moe Joe’s who may have been distressed by this incident, and extend our gratitude and apologies to the owners, who were kind enough to have us." After the incident, Paul headed to the Timberland facility in Stratham, where the media situation was much more tame. There were roughly 50 members of the media there. Paul's wife was in attendance and waved to the crowd when she was introduced by her husband. During his speech to employees, Paul was flanked by a pair of what appeared to be bodyguards dressed in black trenchcoats – an unfamiliar sight at his campaign stops over recent weeks. Unfortunately, we weren't there to witness the incident, but apparently it was mayhem. When Paul arrived at Moe Joe's Family Restaurant, the tiny Manchester diner was already teeming with more than 120 reporters, who promptly swarmed Paul and his wife, Carol, before they had even gotten out of the parking lot. One reporter even shoved Carol and told her to "Get out of the way," according to campaign manager Jesse Benton. (Paul's wife rarely campaigns with her husband, so presumably the reporter didn't recognize her.) After about 15 minutes, Paul gave up fighting the hordes and retreated back with his security detail. In a statement this afternoon, Paul's campaign manager Jesse Benton apologized "to be respectful of both Dr. Paul and of New Hampshire voters, who are entitled to examine their candidates in a safe and responsible atmosphere.” Interestingly, Benton writes that the mob was driven by an "influx of foreign journalists." We have no idea if this is true or not, but it would make sense, given that Paul has quite a few fans overseas. In fairness to the media, the dustup wasn't entirely their fault. Reuters reports that the diner was already a madhouse before Paul arrived — in addition to the reporters, the place was packed with 100 Massachusetts high-school students, activists from Americans Elect, two people in pig costumes promoting www.taxmeat.com, and New Hampshire celebrity Vermin Supreme, a perennial presidential candidate who runs on a oral hygiene/zombie preparedness platform (seriously). But given the astounding number of reporters covering the GOP presidential primaries, there was bound to be an incident. Yo Hitoto - Da Jia

Hitoto Yo est née en septembre 1976 (le 20 pour être précis) de mère japonaise et de père taiwanais. Son enfance n'a pas été très guai puisqu 6 ans elle perdait son père d'un cancer à Beijing (Chine). Plus tard elle perdras sa mère en rentrant au Japon puis fut donc élevée par sa soeur aînée. Sa scolarité la mènera jusqu'a la prestigieuse université de Keio. C'est là qu'elle fera sa première expérience au chant dans un groupe de Gospel (KOE), à la fin de ses études elle retournera souvent en Chine emportant avec elle des souvenirs nostalgiques de son enfance. A force de faire des petits concert, elle se fait remarquer et rencontre la chanteuse Alicia Keys et d'un producteur chinois (David Tao). Hitoto avait déjà commencée à composer sur les conseils de son chef de chorale gospel. Elle se lance alors dans l'aventure avec une publicité chinoise pour de la bière (...lol) et revient au Japon avec le désir d'écrire et de composer le tout en melant Japon et Chine. Telle est la base d'Hitoto Yo, c'est-à-dire un chant Okinawai et une musique à tendance folklorique chinoise, et ce sur divers style (pop, ballade, r&b, rock...). Elle sort son premier single "Morainaki" en 2002 et fait un carton du fait de ses textes inspirés et matures ainsi que se type de chant apprécié des japonais mais peu expérimenté. En fin d'année sort son premier album "Tsukitenshin", très bel album à l'image de l'artiste où l'ambiance est très reposante et parfois plus tonique. Hitoto Yo à ensuite été lancé par la Major Columbia et lui à permis de se lancer dans les génériques d'animes. On lui doit entre autres Aishiteruze Baby, sa première apparition vocale dans un générique d'animes. Pour autant elle n'est pas devenue idole et au fil du temps son style évolue et l'on découvre Hitoto Yo plus posée moins axée sur le r&b, mais plutôt tournée vers le mélange vocal et musical japon-chine. En 2003 elle apparaît à l'écran avec "Café Lumière" pour un hommage à l'auteur "Yasujiro Ozu", elle conquis le public par l'émotion de son chant et deviens très vite une artiste appréciée autant par les plus jeunes que les plus vieux. Depuis elle garde un contact avec Taiwan et la Chine, ou elle puise son inspiration musicale (comme on peu l'entendre sur "Kingyo Kusui") et elle réside au Japon pour son chant d'okinawa (que l'on peut apprécier sur "Morainaki" entre autres).
