Il faudra attendre la toute fin du mois de décembre pour que le groupe se mette en activité avec un concert. En tout début d'année 2004, Omi se joint au groupe. L'année 2004 se fera par plusieurs concerts, ainsi que par la distribution de deux demos. Dans le milieu de l'année 2005, le groupe sortira son premier single et un second début 2006. En janvier 2009 elles changent de label, elles passent de Sequence Records à Monster's inc. S'en suit la sortie d'un nouveau clip "VANGUARD" ainsi que d'un mini album "VANGUARD -of the muses-" sortie prévu en avril. Puis le 21 Octobre 2009, sort leur actuellement dernier album, Ambivalent symphony. Un nouveau single composé de trois pistes est prévu pour le 2 Juin 2010. Exist†trace est un groupe qui a un fort potentiel pour leurs compositions. Musicalement, pour leur débuts, on peut penser aux débuts de D'espairsRay. Chaque membres du groupe peuvent montrer leur capacité sous différentes mélodies, l'ambiance du groupe est assez sombre. Jyou quant à elle, a un très bon chant, alternant guttural et clair. Grâce à la sortie du mini album VANGUARD -of the muses-, le groupe prend une nouvelle direction, avec un visuel et une musique plus conventionnelle dans le visual kei, tout en restant dans un contexte sombre et mélancolique. Les compositions du groupe sont originales, et caractéristiques d'exist trace, avec la voix de Jyou qui a remarquablement progressé depuis 2008. "Dans cet univers noir et gothique que nous avons développé, nous cherchons à donner une vision plus féminine de la mort", explique Miko. Voilà qui définit bien le groupe. Ce qui les uni, c'est cette volonté de "ne pas "perdre" face aux hommes" et de bousculer les mentalités en montrant que "hommes et femmes devraient pouvoir aujourd'hui faire de la musique sans avoir à lutter" Avec des influences telles que Evanescence, Within Temptation, Dir en Grey ou encore Static X, elles imposent leur approche du visual kei en cherchant à "faire des choses que les hommes ne peuvent pas faire tout en les égalant, grâce aux instruments et à la voix. " Chose promise, chose due, Jyou impressionne l'audience avec sa voix, qui peut partir aussi bien dans les graves que dans les aigus, sublimée par le son lourd des instruments, en particulier celui de Naoto. La bassiste, qui l'accompagne au micro d'une voix gutturale, prouve qu'elle sait se servir de sa basse avec diverses techniques qu'on sait compliquées. Pour ce qui est du visuel, le groupe arbore un look sombre et classique. North Korean TV Announces Kim Jong-il's Death - December 19, 2011 North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has died at the age of 69, state-run television has announced. Mr Kim, who has led the communist nation since the death of his father in 1994, died on a train while visiting an area outside the capital, the announcement said. He suffered a stroke in 2008 and was absent from public view for months. His designated successor is believed to be his third son, Kim Jong-un, who is thought to be in his late 20s. North Korea's state-run news agency, KCNA, urged people to unite behind the younger Kim. "All party members, military men and the public should faithfully follow the leadership of comrade Kim Jong-un and protect and further strengthen the unified front of the party, military and the public," the news agency said. A funeral for Kim Jong-il will be held in Pyongyang on 28 December and Kim Jong-un will head the funeral committee, KCNA said. Mr Kim's death will cause huge shock waves across North Korea, an impoverished, nuclear-armed nation with few allies. The announcement came in an emotional statement read out on national television. The announcer, wearing black, said he had died of physical and mental over-work. A later report from KCNA said Mr Kim had had a heart attack. South Korea's military has been put on alert following the announcement and its National Security Council is convening for an emergency meeting, Yonhap news agency reports.
