Japan Fukushima : Strontium Tainted Water 'no problem' - December 4, 2011 Strontium-tainted water leak suspected Tokyo Electric Power Company says the water may contain high levels of radioactive strontium. Strontium causes internal radiation exposure. The company is trying to determine whether the water reached the sea. The utility said at about 11:30 am on Sunday a water leak was spotted in a device to remove salt from contaminated water from which radioactive material had already been removed. It said the leak was stopped after the device was turned off, but at least 45 tons of water containing radioactive materials may have leaked out, with some portion possibly reaching a ditch outside the facility. The level of radioactive cesium had been reduced to 45 becquerels per cubic centimeter after the treatment. But the water is believed to have contained 130,000 becquerels per cubic centimeter of radioactive strontium. The ditch connects to the sea about 600 meters away. The power company is piling up sand bags in the ditch to prevent the water from flowing to the sea. The water is used to cool down the reactors in the power plant and the utility says the leak does not pose any problems for the process. Japan: TEPCO DENIES Explosion at Reactor #2 - November 29, 2011 OMG, the lead story is UNFUKUSHIMA BELIEVABLE! I think it's close to 5 reported on at least. Totally out of control media coverup. They opened a two-day symposium on Wednesday in Hiroshima. It is the first meeting of its kind jointly sponsored by Hiroshima Prefecture, medical organizations, and the International Atomic Energy Agency. One of the speakers was Fukushima Medical University Professor Seiji Yasumura. He is in charge of conducting a survey on the health of residents in Fukushima Prefecture following the nuclear disaster there. Professor Yasumura said the current budget for his study is not sufficient because of the time needed to do the work and the fact that few people fill out the surveys that help him estimate levels of radiation exposure. IAEA Deputy Director General Daud Mohamad said the agency will provide all possible support to Fukushima Prefecture if requested. Stupid m Frs. Just F'n DO IT, STUPID STUPID STUPID. wtf, TOTALLY WTF. Japan Fukushima: Radioactive Rice: Where is it? update - November 17, 2011 Fukushima Prefecture probes cesium-tainted rice http://www3.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/20111117_19.html Accident manuals for No 2 & 3 reactors disclosed http://www3.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/20111117_21.html Radioactive iodine leaked from Hungarian institute Hungary says the source of radioactive iodine detected in Europe over the past few weeks was probably from an isotope maker in Budapest. Authorities in the Czech Republic, Austria and Russia measured very low levels of iodine-131 in their atmospheres from late October to November. The International Atomic Energy Agency along with those countries conducted an investigation for the source of the iodine. On Thursday, the IAEA issued a statement saying that Hungary's nuclear authority told the agency that iodine-131 had been released from a private institute from September 8th to November 16th. The institute produces radioisotopes for healthcare, research and industry. The Hungarian government also issued a statement on the same day, saying there are no public health concerns because the leaked iodine is within the permissible amount set by the country. Hungary and the IAEA are continuing the investigation and working out measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring. Japan Fukushima: Prof.Chris Busby update on Supplements to block Fukushima radioactivity effects - October 15, 2011 original upload http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12EEeaMuEdU&feature=feedu Uploaded by drdrwoland on Oct 15, 2011 Chris Busby updates Japan on what to do to reduce the risk of radiation damage from the contamination from the Strontium-90, Uranium and Plutonium dispersed widely over northern Japan.First of all, evacuate the children and evacuate yourselves. The contamination of the ground and the food is a serious health hazard. Car air filter analysis shows the material on the ground becomes airborne and can be inhaled. Get away If you can; but if not not then you can reduce the access of these radionuclides to the DNA. It is basic Physical Chemistry that increasing the Calcium concentration, (Calcium which stabilises the DNA phosphate backbone), will inhibit the equilibrium binding of radionuclides like Strontium, Uranium, Plutonium and other high DNAP affinity elements and complex ions. The Iodine thyroid blocking method is based on the same thermodynamic chemical equilibrium idea. A number of websites have been selling pills based on his ideas and more are being set up but it is straightforward, he says, to buy Calcium/ Magnesium tablets from health food shops where they are not expensive. The adult dose is about 800mg Calcium and 350mg Magnesium. Reduce the dose for children in proportion to their relative weight, so for a 10-year old, about 400mg Calcium and 175mg Magnesium. This is a critical issue: it will save lives and it is so simple and is absolutely harmless. www.llrc.org www.greenaudit.org www.bsrrw.org www.euradcom.org *Note: Single radiation dose of 2,000 millisieverts (200,000 millirems) and above causes serious illness.
