Mitsubishi Materials Turning - MachineTools.TV

Mitsubishi offers special J-Series breakers and micro-grain grades for turning difficult to cut materials. Mitsubishi breakers for heat resistant alloys include the FJ (light cutting), MJ (medium cutting) and GJ (medium to semi-heavy cutting). The offering is completed with the addition of the dual rake MS (medium cutting) breaker and round RCMX insert also for medium cutting. FJ and MJ series insert are available in G Class tolerances for applications that require a strong sharp cutting edge. For Titanium and non-ferrous materials, the polished FJ-P/MJ-P version is available. The FJ's sharp cutting geometry is available in standard .002, .004, .008 and .016" tool nose radius. While the MS and MJ tool nose radius starts at .016 and the GJ at .031" and up. Our heat resistant alloy breakers are available in a wide range of micro-grain grades specifically design for this market segment. Our micro-grain grades are available non-coated or topped off with PVD/CVD coatings and edge preparations to suit to the insert application range. Available uncoated grades are: RT9005, RT9010, TF15 and Hti10. Our MIRACLE Coating (Al, Ti)N PVD grades are: VP05RT, VP10RT and VP15TF. CVD coated US905 is design to provide unequalled wear resistance in stable high speed applications. The close microstructure of US905 CVD coatings limits insert flank and face wear at high speeds when compared to other products. US905 has the highest hardness cemented carbide substrate suitable for CVD Coating.
