Avec Yeoram Kalfa il a conçu ce tableau divisé en 4, assouvi ses délires de personnalisation des chiffres et son fantasme du chef d’orchestre exalté. Avec le succès de "C’est la vie", Martin et l’équipe d’HKDB avaient une pression supplémentaire au moment de mettre en image le nouveau single "I want you". Ce titre a une énergie mécanique selon son auteur qui imaginait depuis le début un "clip de bagnoles". L’idée de sortir son univers pastillé des studios photo était également dans l’air et c’est la rencontre avec Alice Taglioni qui a achevé la genèse de cette vidéo western burlesque et fantasmagorique. Entre "Bonnie & Clyde" et "Austin Powers" toute l’équipe a souhaité se mettre un peu en danger pour tourner sans filet, quelque chose de frais, par 45°C dans le désert des Bardenas en Espagne : I want you !
No wonder "I want you"(feat. Lee Fields) is different, a solid house track with a strong rock feel, reminding us of "Everybody". Martin wanted to shoot outdoor and perceived something very mechanical in the track. It inspired him this surprising car video, that he directed himself with the help of his mate Yeoram Kalfa. Something of an out of time western scene between "Bonnie and Clide" and "Austin Powers", lead by the appearance of French superstar Alice Taglioni... Something fresh for your screen shot under 45°C : I want you!
