Key 63 - section A of the paradise Bird Theater. I have called "Clé 63" some tapes which has survived from the time Christine and me were teaching dance to Fraternity children from Kulapalayam. Most of the time the classes were held at the "Last school" in Aspiration. Included to this first section of the Key 63 you shall find a song called "les aurovilliens", which is an adaptation of a Holi hindi song. In 1977, my students performed a dance on this song in the Center for Auroville birthday. Each one had come by foot to the place with a peacock feather in one of their hand. In the key 27, you can watch the paradises Birds theater danced in solo in 2008, and in the Keys2 , 4,36 and 37 it is danced in duo in 1982,1994, 2009, 2010, and in the keys 7 , 10 and 47 it is danced with my students in Tahiti in the nineties, and in the key 41 it is danced in Africa with english subtitles. Romen Palit was poet, philosopher (in english and bengali) and sitar master. Romen and Anuben Purani has been the two first children of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram school, before becoming teachers there. Romen was living with a woman called Pretima and Christine has been learning music from him during the years she spent in India. He gave me also talas training along Christine ragas classes.

In 1977, the first of January , was started a new Auroville communauty, in the place where has been built Quiet later. The place has been occupied earlier by Pooni, and communauty memeber were Gilles, Patrick, Gerard, Elisabeth , Christine and myself Dominique .The two main occupations were building a boat and dance and music animation for the children of the neighbouring village Chinnamudaliarchavadi. On this recording , Patrick is playing suling with me , i play the mridangam,it is an adaptation of Ktut Mario Kebyar gendings . On the photo you can see the main building of Aurobeach then. In 1999, performing in Quiet some music and dance with Dye and Pedro Antunes, I saw in the garden some ruins of a wall of the former Aurobeach .
