Voici mon dernier un clip « MOI MON VOISIN » pour le chanteur Philem.
Une satire de nos voisins, avec un cocktail d’acteurs et de gueules.
Dans quelques semaines, le clip sera diffusé sur MTV.
Je fais la promo de ce travail car j’ai eu toute la liberté qu’un réalisateur peut espérer. Et cette clé, fait un film libre et ubuesque, surréaliste.

SYNOPSIS “Ouvre c'est papa !” est un film qui parle de la passion quand on vingt-ans. Quand on se demande ce qu'on va faire de sa vie, de ses désirs pour un art, que celui-ci soit le jonglage, la comédie, la littérature ou bien le cinéma. Quand on est tenté de faire ce que les autres ont décidés pour vous. Notre héros, Alessandro est confronté à cette question et à son Père qui veut absolument qu'il soit son successeur dans l'entreprise familiale, et qui l'oblige à oublier définitivement sa passion. Mais on ne peut oublier une passion quand elle vous submerge, qu'elle est votre vie tout entière, qu'elle coule dans votre sang. Quand cette expression est un besoin. Alessandro à peur d'affronter son père qui est directeur de cirque et qui déteste les artistes. Ce film montre l'évolution d'Alessandro dans son choix de vie, un passage qui risque d'être douloureux pour tout le monde. Mais a t'on le choix de sa vie ? Appartenons-nous aux autres ?
SYNOPSIS EN ANGLAIS
Alessandro, a twenty years old boy, works as a countable in the circus run by his father. This job is frustrating and makes him feel miserable; he spends most of his time juggling in his office instead of sorting out the daily matters. His behaviour brings about a fierce dispute between father and son. The boy wishes to be an artist, his father being illiterate and having spent his life struggling against problems, wants a better future for his son and a serious job that pays… However, they are very fond of each other, in spite of their disagreements.
This is why Alessandro lives in his own world, introspective and dreaming all the time. His fears and anxiety are showing up through an eczema pitting his hands and making him scratching to blood.
Whatever he does he feels guilty. On one hand, he loves secretly Sibylle a young girl who seems to be both beautiful and out of reach. On the other hand he keeps thinking to his childhood friend Aindreas who performs in another circus as an outstanding juggler.
Alessandro toppled over the edge the day, when together, with his father and Sibylle, he went to see Aindreas performance : a dazzling show that made him understand he cannot live anymore without performing his art.
He then, decides to give up everything and leave. On the same evening he gets ready to disappear stealing his father's car. Suddenly, Sibylle stands by his side, she confesses her love and wants to follow him. Their happiness will last but one moment as everything between them is a misunderstanding. Sibylle thought Alessandro was leaving to lead elsewhere a "reasonable" life and go his carrer as a countable. That's why she wanted to go with him in order to leave behind and forever the circus world. The dream crashes, all of a sudden, as in a nightmare, Alessandro's father arrives and the fight starts again more fiercely than ever. Alessandro will nevertheless continue to live his dreams, having to face a lack of understanding and choosing therefore loneliness.
SOME INDICATIONS
This film must be dealt with the rythmn of an American comedy of the 1950s (Hawks, Cukor); the overall cheerful tone would come out of dialogues altogether swift, quick and biting. The movie camera will not emphasize details nor ambiance but the latter should be perceived in the scenes.
The atmosphere will change with the development of the story : to begin with, a dim light for Alessandro's misty and choking world that tells about his seclusion and suffering after which, the protagonist (Alessandro) will perform, at night, in a complete darkness, a scene in which he grasps his life and starts acting and finally it shall end in full sun light.
As for the music, no funfair symphony nor any nostalgic circus performers' song but a powerful and modern type of music (Skunk Anansie).
Synopsis en ESPAGNOL
"Abre es papa" es una pelicula que habla de la pasión cuando tenemos veinte años. Cuando nos preguntamos lo que vamos a hacer de nuestra vida, de sus deseos por un arte, que este sea malabarismo, comedia, literatura a ciné. Cundo estamos tratando de hacer lo que los oltros nos inpiden.
Nuestra héroe, Alessandro esta confrontado a esta pregunta y a su padre que quiere absolutamente que sea su sucesor en la empresa familial y que le obligaa a olividar definitivamente su pasión. Pero no se puede olividar una pasión que te sumerge, que es toda su vida, cuando lo siente en su suangre. Cuando esta expresión es une necesidad.
Alessandro tiene miedo de hacer frente a su padre que es director de circo y que además odia los artistas.
Esta pelicula nos enseigna la evolutión de Alessandro de lo que tiene que escoger en su vida, un pasaje que riesga de ser doloroso para todo el mundo.
Pero es que tenemos ostros remidios en esta vida ? Es que dependemos de los otros ?
Que hacer de una pasión cuando tenemos veinte años ?
