PAULINE, SC-- Timothy Ray Smith, 51, beloved husband of Tammy Samuels Smith, died suddenly, Thursday, February 18, 2010.
Born in Spartanburg on August 2, 1958, Tim was the son of Mildred "Coot" Holder Martin and Marshall Ray. Tim honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an Eagle Scout and a 33rd Degree Mason with Calhoun 81 AFM Lodge, Pauline, SC. Tim was a member of the Covenant Sunday School Class and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 24 years, Tim is survived by three sons, Adam Smith of Charleston, Jordan Smith of Pauline, and Christopher Smith of Michigan; two daughters, Rachel Smith of Moore and Samantha Smith of Pauline; and two sisters, Kim Barnett and husband Charlie of Moore and Susan Smith of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by two half-brothers, Brett and Bart Smith.
A visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 22, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Richard Thomas and the Rev. Paul Sanders.
Burial with Military Honors will be in Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in remembrance of Tim to Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1399 Walnut Grove Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.
