Formé courant 2005, Lead Orphans est composé de cinq musiciens, Mike (guitare), Nico (basse), Koket (batterie), Julien (guitare) et Seb (chant).



L'année 2005 sera consacrée à la composition d'une dizaine de morceaux, le début de l'année 2006 à l'enregistrement d'une première démo CD 5 titres "One Evening Coming" auto-produite au Kaktus Studio (novembre 2006) ainsi qu'à la sortie de 2 titres inédits sur la compilation de l'association Mighty Worms Strike vol.2 (novembre 2006) au côté de Welcome To Miami, Hellbats, Jack & the bearded fishermen... Ainsi qu'aux concerts, partageant des dates avec Flying Donuts, Curtiss, The Waterguns, ...



Vaguant entre sensibilité et nervosité, les compositions du groupe allient la brutalité d'un rock percutant à l'intensité de mélodies plus nuancées auxquelles s'intègre un chant émotif et intuitif en anglais.

2005 was the early year for this new rockin' band for mixing ideas-dreams-doubts and other feelings in music.

Lead Orphans begin to play in februar/march 2006 with several dates in the east of the country, delivering each show with entire energy, with care and sensations.

The style is sometimes deadening with furious melodies, sometimes shivering between tenderness & madness. The band is going to release their first demo "One Evening Coming" - 5 songs for motion getbackers - in november 2006...Just beware !

And as the hands of the clock choke all of us, they really hope it's gonna make you rock, sing and dance to find new times to venture outdoors !

Some words about the name of the band "Lead Orphans" : It's not a new story, the subject is pretty ancient...

Forsaken by parents, families or destiny. Facing fears, nobody to cry for or to care about. What could give them the strength to keep it alive? What would make them feel free on this day from these boundaries and memories in such a way?

The answer sounded as a curious melody : Music.

Music as the only thing that could be sung in a same voice and shared in a same spirit. Music to erase mischievous shadows and to escape from the backyard birding of the hard-hearted men. Music to believe, dancing and smiling at new empty spaces. Music against numbers and individual interests as a sign in Hopes. Music as a common grievance to pledge to the flag of the liars. Music to celebrate love and hate. Music to lead the lost and the lonely.
