The Thermae of Antoninus were built in the 2nd century a.c. (145-162), by the emperor Antoninus Pius. Ranked third in the order of magnitude, the thermal unit reflects the importance of Carthage as a Roman city.
Architecturally, the baths have a perfectly symmetric plan specific to the baths of major cities.
Currently, the baths are only reduced to their slot soil, and we can only admire what remains of fragments of marble and granite (friezes, tent...), since the building was transformed in the Middle Ages to a marble quarry used for the ornamentation of the monuments of Kairouan, Tunis or even transported to Europe.
The thermal unit was ranked international monument by UNESCO since October 26, 1979.

Korbous, Cap Bon, Tunisia
Korbous is located on the north coast of Cap Bon, about 56 kilometers from Tunis, the capital.
Amazing sea views surround the area. Korbous has beautiful white beaches at the base of craggy cliffs, ideal for photography and romantic movie scenes.
In the past, local women who wanted to conceive believed for centuries that a slid down the famous Zarziha Rock would make them fertile.
In the town, the springs are all parts of hotels while out of town they can be bathed in publicly.
